Home air conditioning, drains and ducts

Repairs, replacements and humidity work for houses in West Palm Beach, Riviera Beach and Palm Beach Gardens.

Repairs

The short list in a Florida summer

Capacitors, contactors, a blocked condensate line with the float switch tripped, a low charge from a slow leak, a control board, a blower motor. Near the water, corrosion adds itself to all of them.

Each has a test, and you get the fault, the price in writing and what is next in line.

Water

What to do the moment you see a stain

  • Switch the cooling offAt the thermostat. It stops the water being made while you wait, and it costs nothing.
  • Look, do not pokeA ceiling holding water can come down. Note where it is and leave it.
  • Tell us it is waterIt changes what we bring and how quickly we come.
  • Expect the drainNine times in ten it is the condensate line, the pan or a float switch that never worked.

Humidity

Cold, and still damp

Moisture leaves the house only while the system runs. Oversized equipment cools fast, shuts off and leaves the water behind, which is why a house can read 74°F and feel heavy.

We look at run times, fan speed and duct leakage before anyone suggests bigger equipment — the answer is usually the opposite.

Replacement

What a proper job includes

  • A load calculation

From the house, not the old label. On this coast that often means slightly smaller equipment running longer.

  • Duct work

Tested and repaired before the new system goes on it.

  • Pan, drain and float switch

Primary and secondary, sloped properly, with a switch that actually cuts the system.

  • Commissioning

Airflow, split and charge recorded and handed to you at the end.
